The son of pop singer Gary Valenciano was unscathed after he accidentally rearended an owner-type jeep on C-5 road in Taguig early Monday. Paolo Valenciano, lead singer of the band Salamin, was driving his Suzuki Swift when it rammed the jeep, which was coming out of a gas station around 5 a.m. Valenciano’s car spun once before hitting a concrete barrier after smashing into the jeep. "Umaandar lang kami tapos bigla na lang may bumangga sa min (We were driving when something hit us),” driver Elioberto Mendoza said. He said his lone passenger, Sgt. Noel Moong, was slightly hurt during the accident. Valenciano said he did not notice the jeep before the accident. “I didn't see him. I was going kinda fast but this is C-5.” The Valencianos promised to shoulder the medical expenses of Moong. source of info: www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage.aspx?StoryId=107903
